Job Summary
Dalas Fashions Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Knitting to lead and oversee the operation of more than 100 Circular Knitting Machines. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth production planning, machine efficiency, quality assurance, manpower management, and timely delivery of knitted fabrics while maintaining optimum productivity and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily knitting production activities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of 100+ circular knitting machines and related resources.
- Monitor machine efficiency, production output, downtime, and quality performance.
- Coordinate with Production, Dyeing, Quality, Maintenance, and Merchandising departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Analyze production reports and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Ensure fabric quality standards are maintained as per buyer requirements.
- Lead and develop knitting supervisors, operators, and supporting staff.
- Monitor yarn consumption and minimize wastage.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly followed.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports for management.
Experience
- At least 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Yarn/Knitting Technology preferred) from a recognized university.
- Additional professional training in knitting technology will be considered an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 36 years
- At least 15 years with a proven record of handling a knitting unit with 100+ machines.
