Job Description

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the position of Case Management Officer-CP for implementing 'Education and Protection for Refugee Commuinty (EPRC) Project' funded by UNHCR, located at Cox's Bazar District.

Duration: 01 June 2026 to 31 December 2026 (Strong Possibility of Extension)

Job Location: Ukhiya/Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • She/he will identify physically children-at-risk and provide the immediate and appropriate support/ services with proper documentation through daily shed visit.
  • She/he will basically implement the Case Management interventions to the child survivors and children at-risk of Neglect, Abuse, Exploitation and Violence.
  • She/he will ensure the confidentiality and the guiding principles of Case Management in line with CSP, SOPs, CPMS, Inter-agency Case Management Guideline and other related guidelines.
  • She/he will regularly follow up the assigned cases regularly to ensure all services and action points listed in the case plan are carried out within agreed timeframes with reviewing the regular progress with extensive field visits.
  • She/he will report immediately identified any severe or special case to the Case Manager and ensure appropriate supports/ services.
  • She/he will build and maintain a strong communication with CBCPC as well as other committees, Community Leaders, Maji and Sub- Maji, other humanitarian actors/ agencies working with Case management and also with government authorities to ensure a quality case management support/ service to the entire community.
  • She/he will provide sufficient time-to-time hands on and regular technical supports to all Case Management Volunteers as well as the community people.
  • She/he will plan, design and facilitate the awareness session, workshops and trainings as per need analysis of community people about child protection issues and Case Management referral pathways.
  • She/he will submit required monthly reports on Case Management to the respective Case Manager.
  • She/ He will assist Case Manager for preparing Monthly report.
  • She/he will upload and update regularly the identified children-at-risk in case documentation the CPIMS+.
  • She/he will submit of weekly individual action plans with accomplishment report to the respective Case Manager.
  • She/ He will be responsible for conducting BIA/facilitating the BIA interview to accomplish the BID upon the request of UNHCR/ as per project need.
  • She/he will monitor and guide the regular activities of Case Management Volunteers.

Safegurding and PSEA:

  • S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)'s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
  • Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation.
  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Experience

  • 3 to 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Education

    • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
    • Master of Arts (MA)
  • LLM/ MA in English.

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 40 years

Year of Experience:

  • 3-4 years in child protection. Experience in case management will be given preference.

Mandatory Requirements:·       

  • Having Experience of working in a refugee context.·   
  • Having experience in quality report writing.·       
  • Having experience/orientation in BIP-(BIA & BID).·       
  • Having experience in documentation.·       
  • Able to communicate with English language (Speaking & Writing)·       
  • Able to speak & understand the Rohingya/ Chittagonian Language.
