Job Description
Sales Planning & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
- Prepare territory-wise sales plans and execution strategies.
- Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve objectives.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
Dealer & Channel Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, corporate and key customers.
- Identify and appoint new dealers in potential markets.
- Ensure dealer satisfaction through timely support and issue resolution.
- Monitor dealer performance and recommend improvements.
Team Supervision
- Supervise, guide, and motivate Sales Officers, Territory Sales Officers, and other field sales personnel.
- Conduct regular market visits with team members to improve effectiveness.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance of the sales team.
- Identify training needs and provide on-the-job coaching.
Market Development & Business Expansion
- Explore new business opportunities and untapped markets.
- Conduct competitor analysis regarding pricing, products, promotions, and distribution activities.
- Gather market intelligence and recommend suitable strategies.
- Promote new products and support product launch initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, institutional customers, and retailers.
- Address customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Analyze sales trends and submit recommendations to management.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, collections, market activities, and customer information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting procedures.
Collection Management
- Ensure regular collections to achieve the monthly collection target.
- Coordinate with dealers and customers to ensure timely collection.
- Monitor collections from dealers and retailers and ensure that all collections are processed through the proper channels in accordance with company policy.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Accounts, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth product availability and delivery.
- Communicate market feedback regarding customer preferences and product requirements.
- Participate in sales meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Furniture
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
Additional Requirements
- Age 28 to 40 years
- Candidates should have sales experience in Wood, LB, CNS and Metal furniture items in a large organization.
