Web Developer
Job Description
Upnatives is hiring an expert-level Web Developer for a full-time, on-site role in Banani, Dhaka. We are looking for someone who can build real, functional, responsive websites — not just edit templates or claim experience without proof.
The candidate must have strong practical experience in website development, front-end implementation, CMS/WordPress or custom development, responsive design, website speed optimization, basic SEO structure, and clean deployment practices.
Work Context:
- This is a full-time, on-site position in Banani.
- Work schedule: 6 days per week.
- Must be able to join immediately or within 7 days.
- A live portfolio, GitHub link, or real website links are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive websites for company, brand, campaign, portfolio, and landing page projects.
- Build websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or suitable CMS/custom tools.
- Convert Figma or design layouts into clean, functional web pages.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, fast loading speed, and clean UI behavior.
- Set up domains, hosting, SSL, basic security, backups, and deployment when required.
- Maintain and update existing websites.
- Optimize pages for SEO basics, including title, meta, heading structure, image optimization, and performance.
- Troubleshoot bugs and fix website errors independently.
- Work with designers, content teams, and project managers to deliver websites on deadline.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Advertising Agency
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
Additional Requirements
- Age 18 to 30 years
Must have developed at least 2–3 live websites.
Must share live website links and clearly explain own contribution.
Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive layout skills are mandatory.
WordPress/custom CMS experience is required.
Must know basic hosting, domain, SSL, and deployment process.
Must be able to fix bugs independently.
Must work on-site in Banani, 6 days/week.
Immediate joining or joining within 7 days is preferred.
