AGM/DGM - Maintenance
Job Description
Overall responsibility for Electrical, Mechanical & Utility operations of all group factories
Ensure uninterrupted operation of power distribution, substation, generators, boilers, air compressors, chillers, HVAC, ETP & WTP
Prepare and implement preventive & predictive maintenance plans for all machinery and utilities
Monitor and control energy consumption, power factor, fuel usage, and utility cost optimization
Lead machine layout planning, capacity expansion, relocation, and commissioning for new lines or factories
Troubleshoot major electrical, mechanical, and automation-related breakdowns to minimize production loss
Ensure fire safety systems, electrical safety, earthing, and load balancing are properly maintained
Ensure compliance with buyer audits, Accord/Alliance, ISO, LEED, and government regulations
Prepare technical documentation, maintenance records, SOPs, and compliance reports
Supervise and develop engineering, maintenance & utility teams across multiple units
Evaluate performance of machines and recommend replacement or technology upgrades
Coordinate with production, IE, compliance, and procurement teams for smooth factory operations
Manage AMC contracts, spare parts inventory, and vendor negotiations
Support new project planning, feasibility studies, budgeting, and CAPEX management
Ensure proper calibration and operation of measuring & testing instruments
Act as the key technical contact for regulatory authorities, auditors, and external consultants
Experience
- 12 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Age At most 45 years
- Only Male
- Strong knowledge of garments factory machinery and utilities
- Experience in energy management and cost optimization
- Leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple units
- Practical working experience in civil construction (factory building, utility infrastructure, structural modification, foundation work, etc.) will be preferred.
