Assistant Manager - Sales & Operations
Job Description
D'More Hotel & Resort is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales & Operations to support business growth and ensure smooth hotel operations. The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales, developing corporate relationships, enhancing guest satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
Generate and maintain corporate, travel agent, and institutional business accounts.
Conduct client visits, sales meetings, and promotional activities to increase business opportunities.
Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination among departments.
Ensure high standards of guest service and handle guest concerns professionally.
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Prepare sales and operational reports for management review.
Support marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and business development activities.
Supervise and motivate team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Perform any other duties assigned by management to support organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, leadership, sales, and problem-solving skills with prior experience in the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Restaurant, Resort, Motel
Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor/Honors
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in hotel/resort sales & operations
Strong knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability in corporate sales and client relationship management
Leadership and team management capability
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
